Well, I really hate having to do this but I believe I need to send out a mass thank you. Whenever someone is kind enough to add me to their devwatch or fav one of my submissions, I usually like to send them a personal “thank you”, visit their page, and have a look through their gallery. Over the past month I have gotten pretty busy with work and freelance projects and have not had the time to keep up with my thank you’s. Now, if I were to spend one minute sending a thank you and visiting the pages of everyone that I need to, it would take me well over twenty hours to fulfill that task. A task which I would gladly do except for the fact that I don’t see a window of opportunity to do that in the foreseeable future. So, even though it saddens me to do this, I must send out a mass “thank you” journal. I hope that this isn’t too impersonal. I have met a lot of great people here on dA and have even made some really good friends just by taking the time to send a message or two, so I hope I’m not missing out on any opportunities like that.

So, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to those of you who have taken the time to watch me and my work and to those of you who have added any of my submissions to their favorites. Your kind words and encouragement have meant so much to me as I have been trying to get back into illustration and also as I dive into the amazing world of stock photography.

Since I am one who usually is behind the camera and not use to being in front of the lens, I do have to say that STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY IS ART! Being a designer by profession I understand the importance of good stock photography. Without it, much of my work would be impossible. Never did I imagine that one day I too would begin taking stock images. If you have never taken stock images with yourself as the model, you have no idea the work, talent, and heart that stockers put into each and every image. They use their selves as a medium and mold their bodies, emotions, and expressions to create beautiful works of art for others to use or be inspired by in their own artwork. It is a very humbling experience taking images of yourself and submitting them for all to see and use. I only hope to learn from some of the great stockers on dA and better my own stock photography so I can better serve the other artists. So, whether you’re an illustrator, manipulator, or designer please give much love to your favorite stockers. It is because of them that we can create. Also, please send me a note if you have any stock requests! Requests are fun and I really try to do them whenever I can.

Another thing I have seen others do here on dA is compile a list of “things to do”. Since I highly enjoy seeing what others are working on or plan to work on, I thought I too should compile a list. So, here it is:
